Terri Porche Ricks is a qualified civil and family mediator. She has extensive legal and policy experience with family-related matters, housing and government administration, including contracts and labor-related matters. She’s served in state government as General Counsel of the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency, Deputy Secretary and Undersecretary of the Louisiana Department of Social Services, and Assistant Attorney General in public finance.  Terri received her JD from Tulane Law School, where she served as SBA President. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at LSU. She is also ministry-trained and has extensive experience with resolving disputes within the faith-based community.

Terri is an effective mediator who approaches each mediation seeking to understand the legal issues and the parties involved. She applies her varied experience to navigate the unique elements at play in each conflict to bring about mutually beneficial resolutions. 

She is a member of the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the LSBA.
